Wonder where the name came from? Anyone?
- Brew – Dark 266 4.5% ABV, 341ml

- Brewer - Cameron’s Brewing Company
- Style – Dark Lager/Dunkel
- Country – Ontario, Canada
- Purchased - LCBO
I picked this beer up in the Cameron’s mixed 4 pack at the LCBO. I found it a very pleasant beer. When I did a little research on it I was surprised at how poorly it scored on Beeradvocate, but most people thought it was a dark ale instead of a lager. Goes to show you that you can’t believe everything that you read.
About the Beer – It poured a nice brown colour with an OK head. The aroma was of caramel and grain mixed with a bit of earth. The flavour was quite smooth with light caramel, toasted malt, nuts, and a bit of bitterness in the aftertaste.
Would I Drink it Again? – Yes, very nice. Especially for a non-lager fan like myself!

They claim that it was the 266th version/adaptation of the recipe. Seems like a lot of changes, but it’s not unbelievable. Tasty beer, very sessionable.
